Herder Institute Research Academy in cooperation with the Collaborative Research Center “Dynamics of Security” is pleased to announce a new event series: the Digital HIRA Book Launch in the field of East Central European History.
The series has been developed to support a vivid academic discussion and exchange at a time when personal contacts have been limited. The Digital HIRA Book Launch brings together alumni, current HIRA fellows, and interested colleagues off ering the newest results of our research to the broader public.
The first book launch in the series is LEMBERGS “POLNISCHEN CHARAKTER” SICHERN. Heidi Hein-Kircher is the Head of Academic Forum at the Herder Institute for the Historical Research on East Central Europe, the Institute of the Leibniz Association and the Associate Professor at the Philipps University of Marburg. Her research interests include urban history, security and confl ict policies as well as memory politics in East Central Europe.
